They purchased a piece of farmland near Leask and with a lot of hard work and determination, began building Botchys Campground from the ground up. There was no shortcut to getting it where it is today. Glen and Tracey put countless hours into the campground, often working from morning until night, turning their vision into a place they could be proud of. Their goal was simple: create a welcoming, family-friendly place where people could come to relax, have fun, and make memories.

Family has always been at the heart of everything they do. Glen and Tracey are proud parents of five children and grandparents to five grandchildren. When they are not busy at the campground, they enjoy travelling, playing games, spending time with family, gardening, and caring for their many farm animals.

Botchys Campground is more than just a business to Glen and Tracey. It is something they built together from nothing, with a lot of hard work and dedication. It reflects who they are and the kind of place they wanted to create—a place where everyone feels welcome and families can come together and enjoy the simple things.
